These committees are comprised of dedicated volunteers with specific expertise. The committees work directly with United Way Pioneer Valley’s staff to ensure our strategic plan is effectively implemented.
This committee hires and supervises the organization’s independent audit firm(s).
This committee reviews the facility and building needs, including those funded by the UWPV operating budget.
Under formation, these volunteers will provide professional assistance in implementing effective marketing strategies that support and promote the UWPV mission.
Community Impact Committee
The CIC recommends grant making, volunteer engagement, community engagement, and capacity building strategies that guide the community and program services of UWPV.
The Executive Committee exercises such powers as the Board of Directors delegates.
This committee is responsible for oversight of all financial functions of the Corporation and present recommendations, and reports to the Board of Directors.
This committee recruits new board members and nominates the officers of the organization.
Human Resources Committee
These volunteers promote and oversee organizational practices to ensure that employees understand and promote the organization’s mission.
Planned Giving & Endowment Committee
Planned Giving volunteers work to secure gifts for the United Way Planned Gifts and Endowment.
Public Policy & Advocacy Committee
The Committee oversees the implementation of the policies and procedures guiding the UWPV public policy agenda.
Resource Development Council
These volunteers drive United Way’s annual fundraising campaign in local businesses and agencies throughout the Pioneer Valley.
