The Day of Caring was established to promote the spirit of volunteerism, increase awareness of local human service organizations, and demonstrate how people working together for the common good can accomplish great things. The United Way of Pioneer Valley is a state-recognized volunteer connector, assisting families and individuals to engage in community service. Last year, our volunteer projects contributed 22,715 hours of service with a value of $636,044.
