EFSP Bidders Conference

United Way of Pioneer Valley will hold a Public Information Session regarding the release funding of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security FEMA Emergency Food and Shelter Program for Phase 34 (2017-2018). Funding for the EFSP is contained in the Fiscal Year 2016 (FY16) Omnibus Appropriations Bill signed by President Obama, the designation to the Hampden County, MA jurisdiction is to be determined. This funding will be available to nonprofit organizations that currently provide direct services to individuals and families for emergency or disaster-related food, fuel, utilities and shelter.

Organizations who have not previously received EFSP funds MUST attend a meeting at Springfield Jewish Community Center, 1160 Dickinson Street, Springfield, MA on Wednesday, February 15 from 2:00-3:00 p.m., to learn more about this program in order to apply for these funds.  Current grantees are not required to attend this Information Session but are welcome to do so.  All Applications must be submitted by Wednesday March 1, 2017.
