Tocqueville Society

The United Way Tocqueville Society was formed in 1984 to deepen individual understanding of, commitment to, and support for United Way’s work in advancing the common good by creating opportunities for a better life for all.

The United Way of Pioneer Valley Tocqueville Society recognizes local philanthropic leaders and volunteer champions in the Pioneer Valley who have devoted time, talent, and funds to create long-lasting changes by tackling our communities’ most serious issues.

Membership in the Tocqueville Society is granted to individuals who contribute a minimum of $10,000.00 annually to the United Way of Pioneer Valley.

As a member of the Tocqueville Society, you will be part of a distinguished group that understands how generosity today impacts the generations of tomorrow. Exclusive events will help you connect with like-minded pioneers of progress in our community and fuel United Way’s high-impact work in the Pioneer Valley for years to come.

Your continued Tocqueville gift communicates the vital role of personal philanthropic action in creating long-lasting changes, and strengthens the United Way of Pioneer Valley’s leadership by building a network of like-minded leaders across Western Massachusetts.

When your United Way Tocqueville gift is combined with the gifts of others, you help improve thousands of lives each year. That’s the power of Living United.
