The Dora D.Robinson Women’s Leadership Council works to advance the health, education, and financial wellness of women and girls throughout the Pioneer Valley.
Established to honor the spirit and legacy of Dora D. Robinson, United Way of Pioneer Valley’s first woman and first and only Black woman to be President and CEO, the DDRWLC continues the mission and visionary work that Dora began by uplifting, nurturing, and fostering the hearts and minds of those most marginalized in our communities.
Our work was started in the spirit, vision, and passion of Dora D. Robinson. It will continue through women leaders who have been both personally impacted and indirectly motivated by her legacy. This work is not what we do but who we are. We aim to hold safe and welcoming spaces where women can see themselves in each other, where they collectively advance the needs of the community through advocacy and outreach, just as Dora intended.
