Empowering Economic Mobility
Many individuals and families face financial challenges that prevent them from achieving long-term stability. At United Way Pioneer Valley’s Thrive Financial Wellness Program, we are committed to helping individuals, workplaces, and agencies navigate financial wellness with dignity, respect, and a focus on outcomes. Our services are available to people of all ages and backgrounds to support their journey toward economic mobility.
What We Offer
We provide workshops, financial wellness series, and coaching to individuals, agencies, and workplaces. Our services are built on two key models:
- FINRA Foundation’s Financial Wellness in the Workplace Model – We prioritize outcomes-based financial education, helping individuals and organizations build financial security and resilience.
- EmPath’s Mobility Mentoring®️ Model – Our interactions focus on understanding each person’s unique financial situation, empowering them to achieve their goals with individualized support.
How to Access Our Services
Contact Us for an Intake Session – The first step is to reach out to our team to schedule an intake session. During this session, we use EmPath’s tools to assess your needs and determine the resources that best fit your situation.
Tailored Financial Wellness Plan – Based on the intake, we customize our 1:1 coaching sessions and workshops to meet your unique needs, whether you are an individual, agency, or workplace.
Who We Serve
We work with:
- Individuals seeking financial coaching, assistance with budgeting, debt reduction, or financial goal-setting.
- Agencies looking to provide financial wellness workshops and resources for their clients.
- Workplaces aiming to support employees' financial well-being through customized financial literacy programming.
Workplace Benefits & Employer Collaboration
The benefits to workplaces are numerous. Since our primary focus is on navigating benefits cliffs, we work to ensure that employees taking new jobs can navigate the benefits system effectively and ultimately be better off. We also help employers better understand the benefits cliff issue and collaborate on solutions that support both employees and businesses.
Additionally, we assist workplaces in creating emergency savings plans that help employees avoid risky credit debt and manage minor financial emergencies without financial hardship.
