United Way of Pioneer Valley invites the community to stop by the Chicopee Library for an informal “Meet and Greet” session on January 18th, from 3-5 PM. This is an opportunity to spend some time with our Thrive coaches and clients, and learn how our free financial coaching can be of benefit.
UWPV’s Thrive program has been a staple of the community for more than eight years, providing one on one financial coaching to help people tackle their household budgets, credit repair, savings plans, and debt reduction, among other tasks. Recently the program has expanded to a series of group sessions, as well as support groups where clients meet to share tips and hints towards becoming financially secure.
“Hundreds of people have made great strides in their financial situations through the Thrive program,” notes Jen Fernandes, Thrive Manager. “We take great pride in seeing people improve their credit scores through hard work to the point where they are now homeowners. We look forward to welcoming people on the 18th at the Chicopee Library so they can learn more about how the Thrive program works.”
The “Meet and Greet” event on January 18th is at the Chicopee Library at 449 Front Street. Stop by for a cookie and meet the Thrive coaches, as well as some of the clients who will share their stories of their financial journeys.
